I just received my October issue of Lightspeed. While I've enjoyed the
other two issues, this one didn't seem to have much MEAT in it.

David Warners tutorial was a bit weak in that I don't think he ever
explained what it was he was trying to accomplish. Basically he said
"let's get started! Key in this! Key in that! Key in this! And THIS is
what you get." Perhaps I missed it, but there was no explaination as to
why there were several null objects used.

The alphabet ship was cool, but could have been more detailed.

It's only 3D was VERY well done! It was a good beginners tutorial but
unfortunatly I'm not a beginner.

Anyway, here's hoping next month has more meat. I personally would like
to see something that rivaled LW Pro.
